RetroShare is a serverless Instant Chat Messenger with p2p file sharing capabilities. The OpenSource tool RetroShare features serverless chatting via an Instant Messenger and supports file sharing with your friends. You can create Friends lists, start a group chat and send spam-free e-mails to your friends. There are also various public chat channels available. Because Retroshare is a secure decentralised commmunication platform, you don´t run the risk of information burglary regarding the files you shared with your friends. RetroShare is the only messenger, which approves your Friends through a Web of Trust, and allows you to chat and share files in a p2p serverless way.Please note: If Retroshare doesn´t start up in your language go to the "Optionen" menu and change "Deutsch" to "English". Close the program and restart it.
