Passwords Plus Standard is a cheap and efficient administrator for passwords, allowing a defined number of users to secure their access to various programmes. Passwords are important for protecting information, but it is becoming increasingly difficult to remember them all and having the same password for all things is an unsatisfactory solution. With Passwords Plus, several people can manage their access to one PC, make notes and even start the relevant applications straight from the programme by clicking the mouse. The software gives each registered user access to their area via their own password, meaning the user only needs to remember one access – all other passwords he assigns are as a result freely available. All sorts of information can be protected – not just access to applications, but also credit card data, bank information or serial numbers. This data can also be encrypted. A clever new addition is the ability to enter relevant passwords into an accompanying application; either via a shortcut or the window title, Passwords Plus places the access information directly in the window. An active programme with the login of the relevant user is required. The application can also generate a new passwords automatically according to guidelines entered by the user.
