The problem with Windows 2000 and XP (without SP1) is that when you want to play OpenGL or Direct3D games, the picture refresh rates are too low (60 to 75 Hz.) To get the best frequency your monitor can handle, try the extras tool NVRefreshTool. Upon start, manually set the refresh rates for each resolution and color depth. The freeware utility can be used with all Nvidia-graphic cards.
