Lost Planet is a fantastic shooter and adventure game. Lost Planet takes place on a frozen planet called E.D.N. III. After the great cataclism back on Earth the humanity's last hope was to leave their home and find a new one. But this new world is full of danger. The frozen ecology is bad enough, but there are also fearsom alien lifeforms attacking the humans. One day however, the defending forces gathered some thermal energy from the dead bodies of the aliens, and now the humans are able to use this energy to fight back. Now the hunters are the hunted. Lost Planet is the first game that fully supports DirectX 10, and thanks to that new technology the game is way more sharper then the Xbox 360 version.
