The freeware Google Translator uses the technology of the popular search engines Google to do basic translations Using the free Google Translator you can translate single words, whole phrases or even web pages with only a few clicks - without having to visit the Google website. You just have to be online while performing a translation. In the upper field of the tool you enter the word and after a few seconds you see the translation below. When translating articles or web pages of course some errors occur but the meaning of a sentence is clear. To translate web pages faster you should look in the systems bar. Right click on the small book icon. In the context menu you choose "translate web page" and only add a URL. Via a self definable hotkey you can translate marked segments without opening the program. You can change this or other adjustments also via the icon. Supported languages: German <-> English, English <-> German, French <-> English, Italian <-> English, Spanish <-> English, English <-> Portuguese.
